Job summary

Syngenta Group in Malaysia is seeking a field-facing professional to build strong relationships with farmers and influencers, driving go-to-market campaigns, and providing technical support to ensure customer satisfaction. You will coordinate with Area/Regional Sales Managers to execute campaigns, allocate resources, and monitor market potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in crop protection products or seeds industry.
• Familiarity with agriculture industry trends and business models.
• Knowledge of Syngenta and competitor products and offers.
• Understanding of Syngenta's GTM strategy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with growers and influencers.
• Ability to speak the local language/dialect.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with key farmers and influencers in assigned area.
• Co-develop campaign plans with Area/Regional Sales Managers and lead Field Promoters.
• Influence buying decisions aligned with country Go-To-Market strategy.
• Provide technical support to growers ensuring product and service satisfaction.
• Analyze area potential and allocate resources to optimize market share.
• Feedback market needs for channel program development.
• Prepare consumption targets with sales managers and achieve area budget.
• Implement grower campaigns maximizing consumption potential.
• Execute product/service testing with farmers under management direction.
• Ensure HS&E and Compliance policies are followed in the sales area.
• Coach Field Promoters for development.
• Efficiently use resources in area of responsibility.
