Job description

Job Summary

Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels. For a more senior position, may act as team leader to ensure work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members. Generally performs work of a similar nature to those supervised, likely to orient or provide guidance to team members but refer most matters to the superior.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setup and changeover according to production schedule.
• Ensure machine efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on molds and machines.
• Maintain 5S and safety compliance in the work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in injection moulding or plastic moulding operations.
• Knowledge of injection moulding machines and tooling setup.
• Ability to troubleshoot moulding defects (e.g., short shots, flash, burn marks).
• Familiarity with machine parameter setting and optimization.
• Basic understanding of quality control standards and measurement tools.

Additional Requirements
