Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep packaging and processing equipment running smoothly.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults, perform scheduled preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production, quality and project teams to minimize downtime. Fresh graduates welcome; 2–5 years in a processing industry preferred, with automation knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years in a processing industry; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Mechanical / electrical / pneumatics / electronics experience.
• Knowledge of automation.
• Pack office / SAP / PRS / Machine interface software

Responsibilities

• Eliminates equipment abnormalities and actively participates in the correction of all major or minor defect.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment (packaging & mixing machine).
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and electronic issues to minimize production downtime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Work closely with other teams from production, quality and project team to ensure smooth, efficient and daily operations.
