Job summary

Sernta Elevator Enterprise Co., Ltd in Malaysia is looking for maintenance technicians to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator systems. You will travel to sites in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, follow safety protocols, and assist in inspections and incident investigations.

The role requires a minimum education of SPM or equivalent, with a certificate in a relevant field; multilingual communication (Malay, English, Mandarin) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin is required.
• Candidates with CP2/CP3 certificate have an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and work at sites across KL/Johor Bahru.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as scheduled.
• Observe safety procedures and proper use of tools.
• Attend inspections and assist in damages/accident investigations.
• Handle breakdown reports and support standby section as needed.

Job description

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works in accordance to the schedule.

Carry out corrective maintenance works as when required.

Observe safety work procedures.

Ensure proper keeping and use of tools.

Observe proper work behaviour while working.

Perform standby works when required.

Follow up on breakdown report and assist Standby Section where required.

Attend to the building or equipment inspections as required.

Assist in conducting and investigating of damages/accidents to equipment or personnel.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/'O'-Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/'A'-Level/Pre-U. or Certificate of relevant field.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru.

Must possess own motorcycle and Motorcycle Driving License B2 to travel.

Preferably with some relevant work experience.

Experience in lift industry - had possess Certificate of Competency (CP2 or CP3) is advantage.

Willing to go to sites.

6 working days ( Monday - Friday ) (Saturday - Halfday alternate )
