Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN LIFEWORK SDN BHD is hiring for a production operator/quality inspector on a 3-month contract with performance review for potential permanent conversion. Responsibilities include quality checking measurements to customer specs using micrometers and calipers, lifting/packing finished goods, and preparing items for shipping.

Shifts are 8am–8pm and 8pm–8am; overtime up to 50 hours/month; several allowances and standard statutory benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum education SKM/SVM/Certificate.
• Diploma holders in machining/CNC/welding also eligible.
• Able to commit for overtime (up to 50 hours per month).
• Able to work on 8am–8pm and 8pm–8am shifts.

Responsibilities

• Quality checking and inspection on measurements per customer specs using micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Lifting and packing finished products.
• Preparing products for shipping departments after quality checks.
• Operate machines: stamping with AOI, rolling mill, casting, tape & reel, pick & place, laser cutting and punch press.

Job description

Company will place employees under 3 months contract where you will be reviewed in terms of performance to convert to Permanent.

What you will be doing:

Quality checking and inspection on measurements based on specifications from the customers (using Micrometers, Calipers etc).

Lifting and packing of completed products (ribbon coils, nuggets etc).

Preparation of products to shipping departments through thorough quality checking.

Run Machines (Stamping with AOI capability, Rolling Mill, Casting, Tape & Reel, Pick & Place, Laser Cutting and Punch Press).

What we are looking for:

Minimum education level SKM / SVM / Certificate

Study and or work in field of CNC / Machining / Industrial / Tooling and Welding

Able to commit for overtime (up to 50hours per month)

Able to run on shift (night and morning for 8hours with 3hours OT)

Able to do basic mathematical calculations (test will be given)

Has experience in running above stated machines

Able to read measurement tools (micrometer, vernier & digital calipers etc)

Fresh Diploma holders in Machining / CNC / Welding / Industrial can apply

TWO shift patterns with 3hours Fixed OT; 8am-8pm / 8pm-8am
