Job summary

Benchmark Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an Assembly Technician to assemble mechanical and electrical components based on engineering drawings and work instructions. You will perform wiring, cabling, and harnessing for system integration, conduct functional tests, and inspect materials and finished assemblies to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.

• Perform wiring, cabling, and harnessing for system integration.
• Conduct functional tests to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and report non-conformities.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, components, and subassemblies according to inspection plans.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring instruments.
• Verify supplier documentation, Certificates of Conformance (COC), and inspection records.
• Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials.
