Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is recruiting for an onsite aerospace component repair technician in Singapore. The role involves hands-on benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, and machining to repair aero-engine components.

You will follow procedures to meet quality standards, participate in EH&S programs, and report incidents. On-the-job training and certifications are provided, with opportunities for career development and company transport support.

Qualifications

• O’ Level or NITEC in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience or none who are keen to pursue aerospace industry.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and SOPs.
• Hands-on work with equipment, tools, and machines.
• On-the-job trainings and certifications provided.
• Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude toward change management.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul aero-engine components by benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining, or using other required mechanical skills.
• Follow procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
• Support and participate in EH&S programs and activities within the company.
• Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.
• Perform an assessment of risk of the activities and take corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in audits and inspections as required.
• Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
• Support continuous improvement programs and CORE activities within the company.

What You Will Do

Qualifications We Prefer

• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience.
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office application and SAP.
