Job summary

Sandisk in Malaysia is looking for a production technician to support machine performance and assist engineers with device evaluations. The role requires maintaining environmental procedures and proper handling of waste and chemicals, along with reliable attendance for shift coverage.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering and may have familiarity with wire bond plasma equipment, MS Office, and basic computer networks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering required.
• Experience with electrical/electronic production equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production machine performance is well maintained.
• Assist process/equipment engineers for new device evaluation or engineering runs.
• Follow environment procedures and properly label/store waste/chemicals.
• Maintain and troubleshoot assigned operations and report status daily.
• Highlight any activities contrary to environment policy to supervisors.
• Support operational and team objectives with reliable attendance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure production machine performance is well maintain.
• Assist process/equipment engineers to carry out or setup new device evaluation / engineering run when needed.
• Practice 6’s every time after maintenance/repairing /conversion
• Ensure all activities perform to the environment procedures.
• Ensure that all waste/ chemical are properly store/label and scrap.
• Maintain and perform troubleshooting on assigned operation.
• Highlight to superior any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environment policy.
• Hand shake Passover/communication book and daily machine status report.
• Follow all environmental procedures in carrying out daily activities
• Highlight to supervisor of any activities in the company that may be contrary to environment policy.
• Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
• This role requires reliable presence to support operational and team objectives. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance aligned with the company’s work schedule.

Qualifications REQUIRED

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with Wire Bond machine & Plasma machine.
• Must be able to work in 12 hour shift
• Familiarity in computer system & computer network
• Familiarity in MS Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook
