Job summary

onsemi (Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations in automotive and industrial markets, expanding in Malaysia. We seek a Maintenance Technician to perform routine RCM tasks, service ownership machines, and support MTBA performance while ensuring uptime and quality in our semiconductor testing environment.

You will troubleshoot, coordinate with shift ME, and ensure compliance with OCAP/SOP buyoff to deliver on-time, defect-free production outputs.

Qualifications

• Candidate with Diploma in Engineering discipline of Electrical/Mechatronic/Electronics with several years of semiconductor testing experience.
• Knowledge in turret-based handler and testing methodology relevant to multinode verification.
• Familiarity with vision inspection concepts and lead/package testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Check and service ownership machine to sustain and meet MTBA performance measurement.
• Attend repair ticket timely with adequate sense of urgency and skill to ensure uptime is met.
• Coordinate with shift ME in output focus related activities, perform troubleshooting, setup or conversion to deliver on time.
• Isolate and test rejects, ensuring scrap is under control.
• Comply with OCAP, SOP and buyoff checklist to ensure quality output.

Qualifications

Knowledge in turret-based handler, multisite discrete and analog testing methodology, automatic vision inspection covers various aspects such as lead, Coplan, marking, packages are key to this job.
