Job summary

SimpliSolar seeks a hands-on Technician to drive on-site installations for Solar PV, EV charging, and Battery Energy Storage Systems, ensuring quality workmanship and strict safety compliance.

You will read engineering drawings and SOPs, manage tools and materials, support testing and commissioning, and assist the engineering team in defect rectification while upholding high safety standards.

• Quality & Efficiency: Minimize rework and defects; manage tools and materials to reduce waste.
• Safety First: Follow site safety rules, working-at-height controls, and PPE requirements; maintain good housekeeping.
• Project Support: Track progress with photos and checklists; assist with testing, commissioning, and defect rectification.

The Role

Be the hands-on driving force behind our renewable energy projects. As a Technician, you will execute site installations for Solar PV, EV charging, and BESS systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship, strict safety compliance, and smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Site Installation:

Execute hands-on mounting, equipment placement, cable routing, and mechanical fixing according to approved engineering drawings and SOPs.

Quality & Efficiency:

Take pride in your workmanship to minimize rework and defects. Responsibly manage tools and materials to prevent wastage.

Safety First:

Strictly adhere to site safety rules, working-at-height controls, and PPE requirements, while maintaining excellent site housekeeping.

Project Support:

Track site progress through photos and checklists, and assist the engineering team with testing, commissioning, and defect rectification.

Requirements

Certificate, Diploma, or SKM in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.

1–3 years of hands-on experience in solar PV, EV charging, M&E works, or construction.

Ability to read technical drawings and execute work based on specific method statements.

Strong practical understanding of site safety (especially working at heights), tool handling, and equipment installation.

Disciplined, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
