Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform periodic maintenance and minor services according to the PMSS Schedule. You will assist the foreman with technical tasks, housekeeping, and safety on daily operations, and you will communicate with the Job Controller about any additional jobs or delays.

The ideal candidate holds at least a SKM level 3 certificate in automotive/mechanical, with 1 year of workshop experience, basic reading and writing in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• Minimum SKM certificate (level 3) in automotive/ mechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience as technician in automotive repairs industry.
• Basic reading/writing skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia to comprehend repair orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid class D driving license.
• Participation in Multiple Technicians training (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic maintenance and minor service of vehicles according to PMSS Schedule.
• Assist foreman in technical work, housekeeping and safety on daily operations.
• Communicate with Job Controller on any additional job required during service.
• Ensure job completion within specified time and report delays to Job Controller.
• Perform tire changing, tire balancing and wheel alignment.

• Minimum 1 year of working experience as technician in automotive repairs industry
• Possess basic reading and writing skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia to comprehend repair order
• Possess basic computer skills
• Possess a valid class D driving license
• Completed Multiple Technicians training provided by HMSB’s Training Department (only applicable for Job Description No. 4)

Responsibility

• Conduct periodic maintenance and minor service of vehicles according to PMSS Schedule
• Assist foreman in technical, housekeeping and safety on daily operation
• Conduct periodic maintenance service by using Multiple Technicians concept
• To communicate with Job Controller on any additional job require during service
• To ensure job completed within specified time & communicate with Job Controller on any delays
• To perform tire changing, tire balancing & wheel alignment job
