Job summary

TDK-Lambda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Technician to join our team in Senai, Johor. The role supports electrical and electronic engineering operations, ensuring smooth functioning of equipment and systems on the production floor.

You will assist in investigations, maintenance, and yield improvement programs, with opportunities to work on new equipment evaluations and process improvements. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Mechatronic, Electrical or Mechanical field.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing is an advantage.
• Fundamental knowledge of wave soldering machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist investigations of production problems and report findings.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technician to join our team at TDK-Lambda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Senai, Johor. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Electrical/Electronic Engineering operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our equipment and systems.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in carrying out and report compilation on the investigations of problems encountered during production.
• Assist the daily production technical support and overall yield &quality improvement program.
• Perform the schedule preventive maintenance onto tools and equipment’s use inproduction floor to ensure a safe operational conditions and trouble-free. Also need to keep track on spare part controls.
• Assist superior in new equipment, tools, materials or process technology evaluationsas well as buy-off line configuration and layout plan.
• Assist in periodical preventive and corrective maintenance, spare part control.
• Assist in product proto / pilot run as well as design reviews for current and newmodel produced.
• Responsible to feedback daily technical problem to engineer.
• Maintain and practice good house-keeping and component inventory.
• Other jobs / tasks assigned by superior.

What we're looking for

• Minimum qualification of Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Mechatronic, Electrical or Mechanical field.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing will be of added advantage.
• Fundamental Process Knowledge on Wave Soldering Machine Operation.
• Knowledge in electrical system/wiring/components as well as mechanical system is an advantage.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and others.
• Preferable with some experience in fixture, assembly or other manufacturing fields
• Able to work independently.
• Fresh graduate will also be considered.
