Technical Support Engineer (Smartphone Repair Technician)
- Inspect the company's branded product for any deficiencies.
- Troubleshoot both the hardware and software of the company's branded product.
- Undertake the repair and replacement of components in the company's branded product.
- Take responsibility for compiling detailed log reports for any software issues encountered in the company's branded product.
- Document all the components utilised during the repair process.
- Responsible for stock arrangements for all service centres.
- Conduct a stock check and report to the warehouse team when necessary.
- Print and affix all fault stickers onto the defective In Warranty (IW) and Out of Warranty (OOW) parts.
- Arrange for the return of faulty IW and OOW parts to the warehouse.
- Maintain service performance, discuss, and enhance service centre KPIs.
- Address emergencies such as customer complaints, stock discrepancies, and others.
- Report the service centre's status to headquarters and devise appropriate strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Document all the necessary information such as Google’s account password and others.
- Ensure the proper care of company fixed assets and uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of the service centre.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls to address customer inquiries.
- Execute additional administrative tasks as necessary.
- Contact customer for the completion of the device repair.
- Submit weekly financial reports to Finance and remit service centre earnings to the company.
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/O Level, Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/ Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
- Candidates must be knowledgeable in Smartphone Repair and testing.
- Strong attention to detail and able to deliver within assigned deadlines.
- Possess positive interpersonal communication skills and keen to learn.
- Work well in a team environment and be a collaborative team player.
- Advantageous to be knowledgeable in smartphone hardware, software repair and testing.
