Job summary

Sangfor Technologies is seeking a technical engineer to support customers onsite and remotely in Malaysia. The role requires deep networking know-how and hands-on security solution experience, with Linux and virtualization skills.

Mandarin and English fluency are mandatory, enabling clear communication with diverse clients and partners. The candidate will implement installations, conduct POP/POC activities, train partners, escalate issues to R&D, and document technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as technical engineer, system integrator or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of networking (routing, switching, TCP/IP, etc).
• Knowledge and experience in security solutions (Firewall/IPS/UTM/Bandwidth Management/Endpoint Secure).
• Knowledge in Linux based operating systems (installation, configuration, administration).
• Knowledge in on-premise virtualization/hyper-converged.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and remote technical support for customers to resolve issues in POC or after-sales inquiries.
• Track, maintain and resolve incidents and provide reports to the customer.
• Perform device installation and integration into customer environment.
• Provide technical training for Partners and/or customers.
• Escalation to R&D to resolve product issues.
• Create technical documentation for project and/or internal knowledge base.

Job description

• Have knowledge in linux based operating system (installation, configuration, administration)
• Have knowledge in on-premise virtualization/hyper-converged.
• Candidate with network and/or security certification (CCNA/CCNP/Mikrotik/NSE/CEH/etc) is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skill
• Oral and written communication skills in Mandarin (Chinese) and English are mandatory

Responsibility:

• Onsite and remote technical support for customers to resolve issue in POC or after sales inquiries
