Job Purpose

• The Technical Service Executive is responsible for delivery or supporting the delivery of technical projects which may include improvement initiatives, new product introduction, technical transfers, re-formulation, validation and verification activities, packaging design and specifications of products supplied from KL site.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or be part of a cross functional team working on product or packaging technical trouble shooting which aims to technical troubleshoot, root cause analyse, investigate and resolve technical related product issues at the site, support product complaint investigations and technical related deviations.

Lead or provide technical support for projects critical to the site such as site continuous improvement projects, department objectives including new product introductions, global procurement, network strategy, value engineering, sustainability, de-risking and simplification initiatives.

Conduct a Design of Experiment (DOE) or process understanding trial and using application of detailed stastistical analysis tools to establish the optimal working parameters ahead of execution of a process validation.

During lifecycle management of the product, work with product owners or packaging technologist to define critical process parameters (CPP) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQA), document the Product Control Strategy (PCS) and work with operations management to ensure the PCS is embedded in batch instructions and SOP. Also lead or support execution of process or cleaning verification or validation activities as assigned.

Development and revision of technical department related documentation such as Standard operating procedures ( SOP), batch directions, protocols, reports, technical justifications, forms and risk assessments as assigned.

Responsible for establishing the packaging specification, data creation and data cleansing in the Haleon packaging specification system. Work closely with suppliers to define individual packaging component specification and define packaging functional testing to confirm design suitability.

Ownership and maintenance of data related to packaging design including creation of technical specifications and drawings and developing packaging component standards as assigned.
