Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Technical Lead to own the technical implementation and delivery quality for Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance platforms. The role requires hands-on experience with Finastra Trade Innovation, Fusion Corporate Channels, SDK-based customization, and Java/Jakarta EE applications.

You will guide developers, review designs and code, and coordinate integrations with core banking, SWIFT, and data warehouse while ensuring tests, deployments, and go-live readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of banking technology experience with emphasis on Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or corporate channels.
• Strong expertise in Finastra SDK customization and platform upgrades.
• Hands-on coding and deployment experience with Java/Jakarta EE environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance platform initiatives.
• Translate requirements into detailed technical designs, build tasks and implementation plans.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to developers and platform teams.
• Review designs, source code, configs, and deployment artifacts before release.
• Drive issue resolution during build, SIT, UAT, and go-live phases.
• Lead customization activities for Finastra platforms and SDK development.
• Coordinate integrations with core banking, SWIFT, and data warehouse components.
• Ensure unit testing, code reviews, and release readiness before implementation.
• Support incident analysis, root-cause analysis and remediation planning.
