Job summary

SELESA in Malaysia is seeking a capable engineer to support project execution and maintenance activities. The role focuses on reporting to Senior Technical Engineer and coordinating with sub-contractors on site.

A diploma or degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years' experience is required. Strong teamwork, communication, ISO 9001:2015 awareness and proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Honest, team player, positive work attitude and proactive.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily report to Senior Technical Engineer on status of ongoing projects and preventive maintenance works.
• Assist in preparing and planning the execution of projects within the specified time frame.
• Work closely with sub-contractor at site.
• Lead and develop the team with hands-on leadership capabilities and guide others in leadership continuity.

Job description

Secondary function:

Prepare daily report to Senior Technical Engineer on the status of on-going projects and preventive maintenance works

Assist in preparing and planning on the execution of projects within the specified time frame

Work closely with the sub-contractor at site

Organizational knowledge:

Good understanding and knowledge of company full product range as well as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering technical knowledge

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to demonstrate positive engagement when dealing with all levels of employees and management to deliver effective and efficient results.

Able to advice management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issue.

Able to lead and develop the teal with hands-on leadership capabilities and to guide others in the continuity of leadership skills and development of succession planning.

Able to understand all mandatory requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and able to perform internal audit.

Risk identification and management skills.

Good knowledge of company’s strategy and direction.

Qualification & Working Experience Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
