Jora Malaysia is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager for Core Banking to lead a team working on ATM Host Systems and Customer Statements development.
You will drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring on-time, quality, and cost-effective outcomes, and oversee COBOL, RPG, and DB2 on AS400 with ALDON deployments.
The role requires extensive banking IT experience, strong DevOps practices, and ability to align technical delivery with business goals.

Lead and manage a team working on Core Banking ATM Host Systems and CustomerStatements development
Lead end-to-end delivery of ATM host and statement solutions, ensuring on-time, quality, and cost-effective delivery.
Manage the development, maintenance, and enhancements of systems using COBOL, RPG, and DB2 on AS400.
Oversee deployments using ALDON for automation and version control on AS400 platforms.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
Ensure compliance with security protocols, including encryption standards for ATM transactions.
Apply DevOps practices to improve automation, deployment, and operations.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage third-party vendors where applicable.
Monitor delivery progress, risk mitigation, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams and ensure alignment with business goals.
Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for ATM-related production issues.
Provide status updates, risk assessments, and delivery timeliness to business and IT stakeholders
Maintain documentation for release schedules, QA metrics, and issue logs.
Apply best practices in software development, documentation, and version control.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security and coding standards.
Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the team.
Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Over 9 years of experience in banking IT systems, with at least 4–5 years in ATM Host system management
Strong hands-on knowledge of AS400, COBOL, and RPG
Experience with DB2 and ALDON on AS400
Good understanding of ATM systems including encryption/security protocols
Solid knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead delivery teams
Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and hybrid methodologies
