Job summary

Thales Group is seeking a Technical Consultant in Kuala Lumpur to support pre-sales activities and analyze customer needs related to smart cards and related solutions. You will interact with customers, gather requirements, and help map solutions to Thales CDI offerings.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience in smart cards or embedded software, with English mandatory and Mandarin a strong plus. Hybrid work in Kuala Lumpur is offered along with a global technology-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Formal degree in a relevant field; PMP or project management certification is a plus.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-Sales support, analyzing customer requests in terms of Cards and Solutions.
• Understand the customer's technical organisation and mapping for Thales CDI offerings.
• Share market knowledge and competition insights with Thales CDI.
• Identify customer needs and map them to the current product map.
• Define requirements specifications within account management scope.
• Act as technical interface for customers when needed.
• Potentially manage card product projects or FPER (Full Perso).
• Lead project implementation of solutions (D1 Physical, D1 Digital, etc.).
