Job summary

Medi-Life (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Application Specialist to deliver product demonstrations, clinical training, and hands-on support for medical devices at the HQ in Shah Alam. You will work with Sales and Service to support customers through installation, training, and ongoing usage optimization.

Ideal candidates hold a biomedical-related degree with 1–3 years in medical devices, strong communication, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Science, Medical Technology, Electronics, Nursing, or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in medical devices, clinical applications, technical support, or healthcare.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good technical troubleshooting and analytical skills with willingness to learn new technologies.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Possess own transport and valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and user training for healthcare professionals.
• Provide application support during product evaluations, installations, and clinical procedures where required.
• Deliver product onboarding and advanced user training to ensure effective equipment utilisation.
• Assist with equipment installation, setup, configuration, and commissioning.
• Perform first-line technical troubleshooting and resolve application-related issues.
• Conduct Operational (ODO) Tests and Electrical Safety Tests (EST) during equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and after repairs in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate service, calibration, and testing records, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Service teams to provide technical and clinical support throughout the customer journey.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinicians, biomedical engineers, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain product knowledge and communicate product features, clinical benefits, and technical capabilities effectively.
• Participate in workshops, exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing activities.

Qualifications & Requirements
