Job summary

Brightstar Computer Sdn Bhd seeks a Marketing Merchandiser to bridge marketing strategies with retail execution. You will ensure products are attractively displayed, campaigns are executed flawlessly, and inventory aligns with marketing goals to maximize engagement and revenue.

Responsibilities include coordinating in-store/online merchandising, collaborating on campaigns and launches, and monitoring stock during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in retail merchandising, trade marketing, or visual merchandising.
• A strong interest in or knowledge of computer hardware, gaming setups, and tech gadgets is highly preferred.
• Excellent creative eye for visual displays and a solid understanding of consumer buying behavior.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors and brand representatives.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store and online visual merchandising strategies for laptops, PC components, and accessories.
• Collaborate with tech brands and internal teams to roll out promotional campaigns, POS materials, and product launches.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for promotional items to ensure consistent product availability during peak campaigns.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on latest tech retail trends and consumer preferences.
• Analyze sales data and campaign performance to provide actionable insights and improve future merchandising strategies.
• Ensure brand consistency and pricing accuracy across all display areas.
