Job summary

AirAsia is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to guide our development team in building scalable, AI-powered EdTech solutions. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor developers, and lead the adoption of agentic AI capabilities using Node.js, React/Next.js, MySQL, and Google Cloud Platform.

You will own cloud architecture decisions on GCP, design data pipelines, oversee CI/CD, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features while driving technical improvements across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development, 3+ years as a Tech Lead.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js.
• Experience designing scalable, AI-enabled architectures and GCP deployments.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems, LLM orchestration, and RAG pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor frontend & backend developers.
• Design and deliver scalable full‑stack solutions.
• Define and drive the technical strategy for integrating agentic AI features into the product.
• Architect and build agentic AI systems, including LLM orchestration, tool‑calling, and RAG pipelines.
