Job summary

ONYX Hospitality Group in Penang is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Outlet Supervisor to assist the Outlet Manager and Assistant Outlet Manager in daily operations and guest service excellence.

You will ensure service standards are met, SOPs followed, and supervision of staff, including opening/closing cashier duties, stock control, and maintaining clean, organized storerooms, with ad-hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in hospitality or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in restaurant operations.
• Experience in hotel/restaurants a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Outlet Manager and Assistant Outlet Manager in all restaurant operations.
• Ensure service standards meet hotel guidelines.
• Ensure SOPs and policies are followed.
• Delegate tasks and supervise subordinates to maintain standards.
• Open and close cashier duties; monitor and control stocks.
• Ensure storage areas are clean and organized; monitor equipment movement.

Qualifications:

• Responsible for assisting the Outlet Manager and Assistant Outlet Manager in all operational activities of the restaurant.
• Ensure that the restaurant meets the high service standards established by the hotel.
• Ensure that SOPs, policies and procedures of the restaurant/hotel are followed.
• Delegate and ensure that subordinates perform their duties according to the standards established by the hotel.
• Perform opening and closing of cashier.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling operational stocks.
• Responsible for monitoring operational equipment movement and quantity.
• Ensure all storage rooms are clean and well organized.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures of the restaurant are well executed.
• Any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the management.
