Job summary

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Team Leader - Audio Visual to oversee the AV operation, maintenance, and coordination of equipment in line with brand standards. You will lead the AV technician team and ensure seamless event setups while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of AV systems and excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills to support internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizens or permanent residents only due to work permit restrictions.
• University degree/diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Engineering, IT or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AV operations, including leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, equipment and technologies.
• Good organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.

Summary

The Team Leader - Audio Visual is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the department in line with brand standards, while meeting the expectations of associates and guests. This role oversees the operation, maintenance, and coordination of AV equipment and services, leads the AV technician, ensures the smooth execution of event setups, and provides reliable technical support to both internal and external clients, delivering exceptional service and seamless event experiences.

Qualifications

• Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
• Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AV operations, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, equipment, and technologies.
