Job summary

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Team Leader - Audio Visual to support the efficient operation of the AV department in line with brand standards. You will oversee operation, maintenance, and coordination of AV equipment and services, and you will lead the AV technician to ensure flawless event setups.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizens or permanent residents only due to work permit restrictions.
• University degree/diploma in Audio Visual Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of AV operations experience, including leadership.
• Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, equipment and technologies.
• Good organisational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.

This role oversees the operation, maintenance, and coordination of AV equipment and services, leads the AV technician, ensures the smooth execution of event setups, and provides reliable technical support to both internal and external clients, delivering exceptional service and seamless event experiences.

Qualifications

• Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
• Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AV operations, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, equipment, and technologies.
• Good organisational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
