Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification or degree in education relevant to primary-level instruction.
• Proven experience teaching at primary level, preferably in a tutoring centre.
• Strong subject knowledge across Mathematics, English language and Sciences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
• Patient, empathetic and enthusiastic approach to working with young learners.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple classes and administrative responsibilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with modern teaching methodologies.
• Knowledge of Malaysian education curriculum standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary-level students in accordance with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, tests and assignments to monitor academic development.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
• Manage classroom behaviour and discipline in a fair and consistent manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials, resources and strategies that enhance learning outcomes.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions and training programmes to stay current with educational best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, challenges and achievements.
• Support students with varying learning needs through differentiated instruction and additional tutoring where required.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades and academic progress.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join Pusat Tuisyen Impian Cipta in Segamat, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality primary education and tutoring services to our students.
