Primary school tuition Center PIC Cum tutor

We are looking for a responsible individual who is passionate about education and possesses good organizational and communication skills to join us as a Tuition Teacher cum Centre Person-in-Charge (Centre PIC). The primary responsibilities include teaching based on the Malaysian Chinese Primary School SJK(C) curriculum, while assisting in managing the daily operations of the tuition centre to ensure teaching quality, student management, and parent services meet a good standard.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for tutoring according to the Malaysian Chinese Primary School SJK(C) curriculum
• Responsible for primary school subjects, including Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics, and Science
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, exercises, and revision materials
• Monitor and follow up on students' learning progress
• Conduct regular tests and learning assessments
• Maintain good classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment
• Responsible for the daily operations and management of the tuition centre
• Coordinate teachers' class schedules and class arrangements
• Manage student attendance records and follow up on absent students
• Maintain good communication with parents and report on students' learning, attendance, and discipline

About you

• Experience in tuition centres, schools, or primary school teaching is preferred
• Familiar with the Malaysian Chinese Primary School SJK(C) curriculum
• Chinese (Mandarin) is a required language; able to communicate well in both Chinese and English
• Possess good teaching, communication, and classroom management skills
• Patient, responsible, and caring; enjoys interacting with primary school students
• Able to work independently and proactively take on daily centre management responsibilities
• Familiar with basic computer operations, such as Microsoft Office
• Candidates with extensive teaching experience but without formal teaching qualifications are also welcome to apply
