Job summary

Omya is seeking an operational leader for Tax Operations delivery to ensure stable, efficient, and high‑quality tax compliance across local corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing. You will drive performance, risk management, and cross‑functional collaboration.

The role oversees process design, standards, and continuous improvement, translating global requirements into actionable targets while developing a team of tax professionals and fostering Omya's culture.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance, taxation, law or related field.
• Advanced tax certifications (CPA/CTA/ACCA) are highly advantageous.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in operational roles.
• Experience leading teams in multi-location environments.
• Hands-on experience with tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, efficient, high-quality execution of local and global tax compliance and reporting.
• Translate requirements, SLAs and KPIs into operational targets and team objectives.
• Manage capacity and workload across tax operations teams.
• Oversee tax service performance and resolve tax inquiries, audits, and compliance issues.
• Lead and develop a team of tax professionals; foster Omya culture.
• Collaborate with Global Head of Book-2-Close and Group Tax; liaise with tax authorities.
