Job summary

SAT & ASSOCIATES (Chartered Accountants) is seeking a Taxation Assistant in Petaling Jaya. The role focuses on preparing tax returns and related forms, with emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of taxation experience and relevant qualifications. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; training and growth opportunities are available in a supportive firm environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy, ACCA, ICSA, Degree or Taxation qualification.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in related field.
• Willing to work in Phileo Damansara, Petaling Jaya; Klang Valley travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Handle preparation of Form E, BE, B, C, TF, CP204 and other tax forms including E-Invoice.
• Review management accounts for tax purposes.
• Liaise with clients and government authorities to resolve tax matters.
• Multi-task effectively and meet deadlines; operate with minimal supervision while contributing to a team.

Able to multi task and to ensure meet deadlines;

Preparing of Form E, BE, B, C, TF, CP204, withholding tax, E Invoice etc

Reviewing of management accounts for tax purposes;

Liaising with clients and government authorities,

Able to work with minimum supervision and in a team;

Experience in tax necessary;

Leadership qualities, good character, responsible, honest, willing to work hard, willing to learn;

Good communication and written skills;

5 day week

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy, ACCA, ICSA, Degree, Taxation etc.

Required skill(s): MS Office and/or any tax software but not essential

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English is a must

Retired tax agents encouraged apply

At least 1 year working experience in related field

Applicants must be willing to work in – Phileo Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Travelling might be required but within Klang valley
