Job summary

Tay & Associates in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a tax assistant to support high-quality tax services. The role involves preparing tax computations and returns, handling client files, and performing administrative tasks.

You will work with senior advisors to ensure deliverables meet client needs and participate in ad hoc duties as required. The position requires more than two years of experience and is full-time, based in Malaysia.

• 1. Provide support and assist in delivering high-quality tax services to clients.
• 2. Perform administrative tasks such as organizing and maintaining client files and documentation.
• 3. Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and industry practices to support superiors.
• 4. Work closely with senior advisors to ensure project deliverables meet client needs.
• 5. Prepare tax computations and income tax return forms for timely submission to tax authorities.
• 6. Handle administrative tasks, such as printing and scanning reports, preparing files, and processing billing requests and invoices.
• 7. Assist supervisors in managing job portfolios and related assignments.
• 8. Undertake additional ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors as and when required.
• 9. More than two years of experience.
