Job summary

KLK Alami Edible Oils Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Tank Farm Operator to handle loading and unloading of raw materials, monitor ullage levels, and support safe, efficient operations in the tank farm and loading bay.

You will ensure hoses are connected for sample collection, seal tankers before departure, assist with equipment maintenance, and uphold PTW and ISO 9001 procedures. The role requires vigilance, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle the loading and unloading of raw materials in accordance with operational procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor storage tank ullage and support all loading and unloading activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in installing hoses for sample collection by the laboratory team.
• Ensure tankers are properly sealed before departing from the premises to maintain product integrity and security.
• Support routine maintenance of equipment, including pumps, steam tracing systems, and related facilities.
• Report any abnormalities or irregularities in storage tanks, pumps, or other equipment promptly to the supervisor.
• Strictly adhere to the Permit to Work (PTW) system and all required safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping in the tank farm, loading bay, and surrounding plant areas.
• Ensure all documentation is properly filed, organized, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
• Support the effective implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
• Experience in pumping, ullage, and tank farm operation would be an added advantage.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
