With approximately 300 employees and a portfolio of high-profile, mission-critical projects, the company partners with leading multinational clients, primarily from Europe, to deliver complex engineering and construction solutions across the region.

As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead regional recruitment operations across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role that will play a key part in supporting business expansion by attracting top talent across engineering, project management, construction, and corporate functions.

The successful candidate will lead and develop a regional Talent Acquisition team while partnering closely with senior business leaders to drive workforce planning, talent pipelining, and recruitment excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition function across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Oversee, coach, and develop a regional recruitment team based in Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans aligned with business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across technical, engineering, project management, construction, and corporate functions.
• Build and maintain robust talent pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre talent within competitive markets.
• Strengthen employer branding initiatives to enhance candidate attraction and market visibility.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and analytics to identify trends, improve hiring effectiveness, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Support regional workforce planning and organizational growth initiatives.
• Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to align talent acquisition strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition teams within an in-house or recruitment agency environment.
• Strong recruitment experience within one or more of these sectors such as construction, Engineering Consultancy, Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Infrastructure Development, Data Centre Development
• Technical recruitment agencies specializing in engineering, construction, or infrastructure talent
• Demonstrated success in recruiting technical professionals, including Engineers, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers, Project Controls Professionals
• Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, or data centre projects is highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Malaysia and occasionally across Southeast Asia.
