Role Description

The Takaful Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuantan, responsible for providing ethical and informed takaful (Islamic insurance) solutions to individual and corporate clients. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with prospective customers, assessing protection and financial needs, and recommending suitable family takaful plans aligned with Shariah principles and company guidelines. The role involves maintaining long-term client relationships, delivering ongoing policy servicing, and supporting customers through claims and policy changes. The Takaful Consultant will also participate in sales and marketing activities, attend training and development sessions, and collaborate with the branch team to achieve business targets and uphold service quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to engage diverse clients and maintain long‑term partnerships.
• Sales, negotiation, and basic marketing skills to identify prospects, present takaful solutions effectively, and meet performance targets.
• Ability to understand and explain takaful concepts, financial protection needs, and Shariah‑compliant products in clear, simple language.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to present information confidently in individual and group settings.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Minimum qualification of Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant insurance/takaful certifications are an advantage.
• Familiarity with basic office and digital tools (e.g., email, CRM systems, presentation software); willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or takaful is beneficial but not mandatory; fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
