Job summary

Deloitte Southeast Asia's AI & Data team in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a T&T Consultant to shape and deliver AI and data solutions across client engagements, leveraging cloud platforms and modern data technologies.

You will partner with regional teams to translate strategy into actionable analytics, apply generative AI, and visualize insights using Power BI and Tableau, while guiding clients through adoption and change.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in CS/Engineering/Statistics/Math/Business Analytics (postgraduate preferred).
• Experience in a consulting firm (Big 4, MNC, or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years (Consultant) or 6 years (Senior Consultant) of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on data visualization and familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud/AI ecosystems.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI technologies.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and willingness to travel within Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end AI and data solutions using hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern data/AI platforms.
• Apply emerging AI capabilities including generative AI, LLMs, copilots, and agentic AI agents to create practical business solutions.
• Use Power BI, Tableau and other visualization tools to transform data into meaningful insights that drive decisions.
• Partner with internal teams across Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific, as well as with clients and ecosystem collaborators.
• Contribute across the full project lifecycle: strategy, requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, training and adoption.
• Operate comfortably in both functional and technical roles, balancing business problem-solving with hands-on delivery.

As part of the Artificial Intelligence & Data (AI&D) team in Deloitte Southeast Asia, you will be at the forefront of how organizations harness data, cloud, and AI. Our work spans modern data platforms, advanced analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI systems - always staying ahead of the curve to help clients transform with confidence.

You will work across a spectrum of engagements - ranging from strategy and advisory to technical solutioning and implementation - helping clients unlock business value through trusted and responsible AI adoption.

In this role, you will:

Requirements:

We are looking for professionals with a balance of technical ability, consulting mindset, and interpersonal skills:

• A good honors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline (postgraduate degree preferred)
• Relevant experience in a consulting firm (Big 4, MNC, or equivalent industry role).
• Minimum 4years (Consultant) or 6 years (Senior Consultant) of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with data visualization tools as well as familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud/AI ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, NVIDIA).
• Exposure to or hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI technologies.
• Excellent problem solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines.
