WD is seeking an entry-level engineer to understand HDD system design and drive integration. You will investigate root causes of failures, participate in product qualification, and work with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and field operations.

This Early Career program at WD provides structured onboarding, mentorship, and development to recently graduated engineers committed to advancing HDD technology in high-scale data-center environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation is a plus.
• Willingness to learn complex HDD technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Hands-on attitude and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Understand system design of hard disk drive and drive integration.
• Investigate root causes of HDD failures and participate in qualification tasks.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and failure analysis teams.
• Document findings and publish technical reports for cross-functional use.
• Support factory, lab, and NPI environments.
