Job summary

Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Design & Test Engineer to design and implement test systems (hardware & software) per project requirements. You will review requirements to plan testing time, coverage and costs.

You will develop the test system, set up and run tests, and work closely with customers, project teams and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. The role also covers customer support and production build when needed, while complying with ISO standards and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field or equivalent experience.
• Preferably 2 year(s) & above of working experience in the related field.
• Camera module testing, optical sensor (LED/ALS/VCSEL) testing is preferred.
• LabVIEW, NI-PXI system and other test instruments such as oscilloscope, DMM, SMU will be added advantages.
• Strong communication skills in both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Design & implement test system/solution (hardware & software) based on project requirement.
• Review project requirement to provide new test system development planning for new project including test time, test coverage, test hardware/software estimated cost.
• Developing the test system, system setup and testing.
• Work closely with customer, project team and supplier to ensure delivery on time.
• Customer support and production build when necessary.
• Other duties as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO and to adhere to safety practices, SOPs, work instructions, policies and guidelines.
