Job summary

Amity Technical Services & Consultancy (M) Sdn.Bhd. in Penang is seeking a Test Engineer to ensure quality, reliability and performance of electrical and electronic products.

You will design, develop and execute testing protocols throughout development to delivery. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, hands-on testing experience, and strong problem-solving, documentation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and circuit analysis.
• Experience with test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies.
• Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans, test cases and test procedures for electrical and electronic systems and components
• Set up, configure and operate testing equipment to execute validation and verification activities
• Execute functional, performance and compliance testing per established protocols and standards
• Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis
• Document test results and prepare detailed technical reports
• Collaborate with design engineers to identify and resolve technical issues
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations and client requirements
