Job summary

Schlumberger Business Support HUB Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a System Engineer to support innovative and cost-effective solutions, developing or sustaining new techniques and products to meet project objectives. You will assist in identifying requirements, analyze and design, build prototypes, run lab simulations, document results, and present findings to customers.

You’ll also train users and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

Degree or above in an engineering field or related discipline.
Experience in system engineering or related roles is advantageous.
Familiarity with lab simulations, testing and technical reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist in identifying and organizing requirements.
Analyze, design, develop, maintain products and assist in their commercialization.
Build prototypes, run lab simulations, design and implement tests, document results and present to customers.
Provide timely corrective actions on defects; develop mathematical models and draw design conclusions.
Conduct technical reviews of requirements, specifications and designs; support design reuse.
Create and maintain product documentation; provide field support and user training as required.
Assign, direct and review work of technicians; mentor junior engineers as needed.
