Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and support Linux, Windows, and cloud environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance of critical IT systems.

You will automate infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, mentor juniors, and participate in on-call rotations while driving continuous improvement and documenting processes to meet audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience in system administration or infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain Linux and Windows server environments.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of enterprise infrastructure services.
• Perform system monitoring, patch management, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support IT security initiatives, including firewall management, antivirus protection, VPN administration, and security patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, operating system, and application-related incidents.
• Provide technical consultation and support to development and project teams.
• Participate in technical research and recommend infrastructure improvements and automation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support audit compliance requirements.
• Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to junior team members and new hires.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident management activities when required.

About The Role
