Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Malaysia is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of FM services for the client’s facilities and to act as the single point of contact for the client across the site.

The role involves developing and implementing FM procedures, managing budgets and staff (in‑house and contractors), ensuring data integrity, regular liaison with the client, and driving continuous improvement to meet SLAs and KPIs with timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, property management, facilities engineering, or related field.
• Strong budget management and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge on Microsoft service suites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Facilities Management Diploma Holder or its equivalent.
• Experience in hard services will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of the facilities management services to the client’s facilities under JLL’s management and act as the single point of contact for the client, for their Sydney site.
• Develop and implement building facilities management operational procedures and performance measures to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods and reliability of systems.
• Liaise regularly with the client on facilities management issues.
• Implement JLL initiatives such as Compliance Review and Continuous Improvement Work Group programs and other initiatives as appropriate.
• Drive client specific initiatives such as savings targets and best practices.
• Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities.
• Manage in-house and contractor staff to prescribed SLAs and KPI with effective MI review.
• Data Management, Policies & Procedures & Audit: ensure data integrity and audit/review data.
• Ensure consistency of procedures with established standards and updates as required.
• Manage the reception team to meet SLAs and KPI.
• Manage budgets in conjunction with regional finance team and ensure services are within budget.
