Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Malaysia seeks an experienced Sales professional to drive surgical product sales within the Kuala Lumpur region. You will manage accounts and territories, educate physicians, and coordinate marketing initiatives to expand market reach.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing/science degree, have at least 4 years in medical sales, and demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing, Science or any related Science field.
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience, surgical experience is an added advantage.
• Passionate, energetic, self-motivated and results oriented individual who can also motivate others and foster teamwork across all functions and levels.
• Team player with a positive can-do work attitude.
• Creative problem solver who not only can identify issues but also come up with solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral as well as negotiation and presentation skills
• Possess a valid driving license and owning car is a plus.
• Strong communication skill.

Responsibilities

• Achieving of sales quotas through direct sale of all advanced surgery products and services (Hemostat/Sealant/Adhesion Prevention)
• Prioritize selling activities via account/territory management which includes understanding of key decision makers, buying-influences and processes; prioritizing resource utilization through effective call-account planning
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of product, disease state and competitor to reflect the brand’s strength appropriately
• Keep abreast of current trends and best practice of therapeutic area, competitor activity to understand and meet maintain competitive positioning
• Coordinate and participate in major marketing initiatives e.g. exhibitions, symposiums, promotional campaigns etc.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of targeted customer interactions via salesforce
• Uncompromising commitment to adhering to Baxter’s Code of Conduct and promotes the Baxter Culture through positive, ongoing relationships and activities
• Increasing awareness and educating physicians on the proper use of our products on label surgical procedures as well as features and benefits of our products
• Calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations
• Monitor sales against forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential for the territory.
