Job summary

Lap Tech Medical Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Surgical Medical Device Sales Representative to support hospitals with MIS devices. You will attend procedures, advise surgeons, and demonstrate products.

This field-based role requires three years of medical-device sales experience, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within Penang and regional hospitals.

Surgical Medical Device Sales Representative (MIS) (Penang)

Join Lap Tech Medical as a Surgical Medical Device Sales Representative and help hospitals deliver safe, effective minimally invasive procedures. You will combine consultative medical-device sales with hands‑on support for surgeons and operating‑room teams across Penang.

RM5,500 – RM7,000 monthly salary

Commission and on‑site procedure incentive

One‑month guaranteed bonus upon completion of 12 months

What you will do

Attend selected surgical procedures punctually and provide technical support and product recommendations to surgeons during operations.

Build and grow relationships with surgeons, specialists, scrub nurses and hospital stakeholders across private and government hospitals.

Promote the company’s MIS surgical devices and consumables, manage the assigned territory and achieve monthly sales targets.

Deliver product presentations, live demonstrations, hands‑on workshops and product training for surgeons and operating‑room nurses.

Plan customer visits, territory coverage, forecasts and follow‑up activities, including supporting timely payment collection and account health.

What you bring

At least three years of experience in medical‑device, surgical or healthcare sales, with a proven record of achieving targets or growing hospital accounts.

Direct MIS, laparoscopy or endoscopy experience is strongly preferred; candidates with adjacent surgical or clinical‑device experience are encouraged to apply.

Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Valid driving licence, own transport and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role.

Important to know

This is a field‑based role with regular hospital travel. Selected procedures or company activities may require occasional early starts, evenings or weekends. The role operates on a Monday – Friday core schedule, with procedure support planned according to business needs.
