Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Supply Planner to balance demand, inventory, and production requirements. You will partner with demand planning, sales, and finance to deliver reliable service and optimized inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Based in Bandar Utama, you will report to the Supply Planning Team Lead and help drive end-to-end supply planning activities, including material dispatch to contract manufacturers and management of aging finished goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years in a supply chain/planning related role.
• Experience ERP SAP and Excel preferred.
• Experience managing inventory, replenishment planning, and production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Utilize depletion demand signal, on-hand inventory and targets to build a comprehensive supply plan within SAP.
• Coordinate with demand planners, customer management, supply planners, sales and finance to provide replenishment plans and OTIF reporting.
• Ensure system generated planned orders convert to process orders within the production horizon.
• Dispatch materials to third party manufacturers to meet customer service targets.
• Manage aging finished goods as part of Kerry's inventory control tower.

You'll partner with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure strong customer service, optimize inventory, and support end-to-end supply planning activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for utilizing the commercial depletion demand signal, on-hand inventory, and inventory targets with DC replenishment requirements. Enable & deliver a comprehensive network supply plan within SAP which meet all financial requirements, operational capabilities, and service objectives including OTIF.
• Communicates and interacts with demand planners, customer management, supply planners, sales, and finance to provide distributor and replenishment plans and exception-based reporting for assigned BU (Customer PSI and predictive OTIF reports). Makes recommendations on actions needed to meet actual and forecasted demand.
• Responsible for reviewing that the system generated planned order generations align and are correctly converted to process orders within downstream detailed production scheduling horizon.
• Responsible for generating supply plans and dispatching materials to our third party manufactures to ensure service to our customers.
• Responsible for managing aging finished goods as part of Kerry’s inventory control tower process. Supply Planner partners with commercial, demand planning, and senior supply chain stakeholders to reduce risk and prevent reoccurrence.
• Review MTO/ATO demand vs MTS demand within the master production schedule to ensure a balanced achievable plan is generated.

The Supply Planner is also involved in the wider supply chain processes

• Supports the Planning Manager and in-region supply chain leadership to drive continuous improvement efforts to improve performance on all key metrics, including service targets, Network optimization, and inventory levels.
• Support the wider Supply Chain team on capacity planning, future availability, and support labour planning as part of S&OP.
• Support Production Planning on changes to near term schedule, support on decisions around adjusting production plans around Made To Stock lines to support Made To Order customer prioritisation and adjusting Made To Stock production against near term demand fluctuations.
• Support network management by transferring materials from one manufacturing location to another based off business needs.
• Support updating master data relating to finished goods in their control, including safety stocks, inventory stocking policies. Ensure that updated master data delivers desired system planning output by partnering with business and supply chain Planning Data team.
• Support reporting on Key Performance Indicators such as working capital (Distributor and DC Inventory DOH, inventory turns, actual vs target) and Service (OTIF, Out-Of-Stocks), complete with process improvement initiatives and prioritizes tasks and deliverables in a timeline intense environment.

• 2 to 3 years in a supply chain/planning related role
• Experience Industry / Sector Specific Food & Beverage preferred but not required
• Experience Tools and Systems ERP (SAP preferred), Excel required
• Experience managing inventory, replenishment planning, and production scheduling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
