Job summary

Nokia in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager for Supply Operations in Penang. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing ramp plans, optimize supply inputs, and support capital planning to ensure capacity across CM and supplier networks.

Responsibilities

• Guide production through ramp from pre-pilot to CP + 1 year.
• Resolve issues between CM, Supply Chain and multiple design sites.
• Close the loop on manufacturing supply inputs (PIC, ASIC, Material).
• Collaborate on Nokia/CM resource planning (IL & DL).
• Collaborate on Nokia/CM capital planning to ensure capacity.
• Develop early manufacturing dashboards.

Supply (SU) covers the configuration, demand, and supply planning, order management, sourcing, production, delivery, and managing the procurement activities towards our suppliers.

Subfamily Description

Supply Operations (SOP) comprises the Contract MFG production set up planning and execution of procurement, delivery execution, and invoicing for the customer teams in the markets. Furthermore, SOP contains the management of local distribution and local material availability, and the contribution of pre-sales by providing optimised supply chain solution design and cost baseline.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Guide production through manufacturing ramp from pre-pilot to CP + 1 year
• Problem-solve issues between CM, Supply Chain, and multiple Infinera design sites
• Close the loop on MFG supply inputs (PIC, Asic, Material, Material)

• Early Manufacturing Dashboards

• Program level starts and outs (vs plan)

• Manages operations topics and quality / continuous improvement, delivers competitive performance to enable growth and optimize profitability in own area of responsibility.
• Contributes to strategic decisions within professional area.
• Acts as a professional leader for staff / workteam / taskforces, often the most senior specialist in a team, who serves as best practice resource within own organizational unit and / or is recognized as an expert within the same professional area in the business.
• Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.

Knowledge & Experience

Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organisational practice or expertise. Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth). Typically requires 10 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
