Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to help secure materials and optimize inventory for regional operations. You will collaborate with Demand, Global Planners, Operations, and Logistics to maintain aligned schedules and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, data-driven planning, and timely execution in a hybrid work environment, with opportunities to impact manufacturing and service delivery across Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience; international experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in deploying the regional supply chain model.
• Plan and develop supply schedules to maintain sufficient inventories.
• Review and adjust demand plans with internal stakeholders.
• Apply Zebra’s procedures to resolve issues impacting the supply plan.
• Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Escalate shortages and work to resolve.
• Maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to confirm schedules.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional projects representing supply chain.

Together, we inspire one another, embrace continuous improvement, and make a meaningful impact! The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for securing materials used in Zebra’s operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from regional distribution centers, product life-cycle, quality and special customer requirements and/or projects. The team cooperates with are Global Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk and Customer Experience Management teams. The Senior Supply Chain Planner has a key role in the team. Besides standard materials planning responsibilities, this person is expected to participate in continuous improvement activities of materials management processes and project management work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and actively participate in deployment of supply chain model within region.
• Plan and develop supply schedule to keep sufficient inventory positions to support materialrequirements of internal or external customers.
• Regularly review and adjust demand plan with internal stakeholders.
• Applies Zebra’s procedures to resolve issues and mitigate constraints impacting supply plan includingcapacity, transportation, and order-management errors.
• Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries; partner with Demand planners/Global Planners toresolve demand relevant issues.
• Escalate shortages within the broader supply chain organization and work to support resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships and communications with key cross functionalstakeholders to confirm production / shipping schedules.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional projects as a representative of the supply chain function.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred
• Work Experience: 5+ years of experience; International Supply Chain experience is service and/or manufacturing is a plus
