Job summary

Zebra Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supply Chain Planner II in Penang to support regional materials planning and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic team. You will work with Demand Planning, Buyers, Operations, and Logistics to ensure material availability and timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and process optimization, with opportunities to contribute to regional projects and improve supply chain efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience; international supply chain exposure is a plus.
• Oracle knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy supply chain model within the region.
• Plan and develop supply schedule to maintain inventory levels.
• Review demand plan with internal stakeholders.
• Resolve issues impacting the supply plan (capacity, transport, order management).
• Monitor open purchase orders for on-time deliveries; coordinate with Order Management.
• Escalate shortages and support resolution with the organization.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to align production/shipping schedules.
• Participate in cross-functional projects representing supply chain.

The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for securing materials used in Zebra’s operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from regional distribution centers, product life-cycle, quality and special customer requirements and/or projects. The team cooperates with our Global Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk and Customer Experience Management teams.

The Supply Chain Planner II has a key role in the team. Besides standard materials planning responsibilities, this person is expected to participate in continuous improvement activities of materials management processes and project management work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and actively participate in deployment of supply chain model within region.
• Plan and develop supply schedule to keep sufficient inventory positions to support material requirements of internal or external customers.
• Regularly review and adjust demand plan with internal stakeholders.
• Applies Zebra’s procedures to resolve issues and mitigate constraints impacting supply plan including capacity, transportation, and order-management errors.
• Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries; partner with Order Management to resolve any admin/order error(s).
• Escalate shortages within the broader supply chain organization and work to support resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships and communications with key cross functional stakeholders to confirm production / shipping schedules.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional projects as a representative of the supply chain function.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree required; Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred.

Work Experience: 2+ years of experience; International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plus.
