Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Supply Chain Planner II to secure materials for operations and optimize inventory across global distribution. You will monitor demand, inventory in transit, and regional fulfillment while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure continuity and efficiency.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, data-driven insights, and strong stakeholder alignment to support manufacturing and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field in business, supply chain, or finance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in international supply chain or related field.
• Experience in service/manufacturing supply chain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Inventory Fulfillment: optimize supply of memory components to Zebra partners.
• Program & Management: oversee the Strategic Broker Buy Program for cost-efficiency.
• Partner Relationship Management: build strong relationships with Zebra broker partners.
• End-to-End Order & Logistics Execution: manage orders and international shipments.
• Operational Problem Solving: resolve system and setup bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
• Business Intelligence & Analytics: lead data aggregation and reporting on inventory health.

What We’re Looking For:

The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for securing materials used in Zebra’s operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from regional distribution centers, product life-cycle, quality and special customer requirements and/or projects. The team cooperates with are Global Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk and Customer Experience Management teams. The Supply Chain Planner II has a key role in the team. Besides standard materials planning responsibilities, this person is expected to participate in continuous improvement activities of materials management processes and project management work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategic Inventory Fulfillment: Facilitate and optimize the supply of critical memory components to authorized Zebra partners, ensuring high-availability and business continuity.
• Program & Management: Oversee the operational execution of the Strategic Broker Buy Program, driving cost-efficiency, mitigating component shortages, and securing supply.
• Partner Relationship Management: Foster strategic, collaborative relationships with key Zebra broker partners to enhance supply chain agility and responsiveness.
• End-to-End Order & Logistics Execution: Manage the seamless processing of customer orders and direct the international shipment and logistics flow of critical hardware components.
• Operational Problem Solving: Provide dedicated, high-level support to resolve system and operational setup bottlenecks, minimizing downtime and supply disruptions.
• Business Intelligence & Analytics: Lead data aggregation, synthesis, and reporting to deliver actionable insights on inventory health and operational performance.
• Continuous Improvement & Project Leadership: Direct cross-functional projects focused on supply chain optimization, process standardization, and system enhancement.
• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a central liaison to align and cooperate with key internal and external stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and external strategic partners.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree required; Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred
• Work Experience: 2+ years of experience; International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plus
