Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia seeks an experienced Energy Components (EC) Support Consultant to provide application support, troubleshooting, change implementation, and system upgrade activities for EC environments. This is a remote role supporting global operations with collaboration across time zones.

You will work with functional, technical, infrastructure, database, and business teams to investigate issues, implement fixes and enhancements, and maintain stability of EC environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for EC applications.
• Investigate and resolve issues spanning application, database, integration, configuration, and deployment.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot EC processes, interfaces, and logs; document technical findings.
• Support production incidents and service requests with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate issues into technical solutions.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle SQL/PL/SQL scripts.
• Analyse database errors and performance issues related to EC changes and upgrades.
• Prepare and execute deployment activities across DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and rollback plans.
• Support EC upgrades, patches, and related technical activities.
• Work with Docker/containerised EC applications; collaborate with DevOps for issues spanning layers.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Energy Components (EC) Support Consultant to provide application support, troubleshooting, change implementation, and system upgrade activities for Energy Components environments. The consultant will work closely with functional, technical, infrastructure, database, and business teams to investigate issues, implement fixes and enhancements, support releases, and maintain the stability of EC environments. This is a remote role supporting potentially global operations. The successful candidate must be comfortable collaborating virtually and, when required, working across different time zones, particularly during critical incidents, production changes, deployment activities, and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

EC Application Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for Energy Components (EC) applications.
• Investigate and resolve application, database, integration, configuration, and deployment-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Troubleshoot EC processes, interfaces, database transactions, logs, and application behaviour.
• Support production incidents and service requests while maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Work with functional and business teams to understand issues and translate them into technical solutions.

Oracle Database & PL/SQL

• Investigate EC-related issues at the Oracle database level.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures, packages, functions, and queries.
• Perform data analysis and controlled data corrections where required.
• Analyse database errors, application queries, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
• Support database-related activities associated with EC changes, deployments, and upgrades.

Change Management & Deployment

• Analyse and implement EC configuration and application changes.
• Prepare and execute technical deployment activities across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
• Support impact assessment, testing, release planning, implementation, and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation, deployment procedures, and rollback considerations.
• Work within established Change Management and production governance processes.

EC System Upgrade

• Support Energy Components version upgrades, patches, and related technical activities.
• Assess existing customisations, integrations, configurations, and database components for upgrade impact.
• Support upgrade preparation, execution, testing, troubleshooting, and post-upgrade validation.
• Investigate compatibility or deployment issues resulting from application or infrastructure changes.

Application Build & Container Support

• Work with XML-based EC configurations and integration components.
• Use Maven for application build, dependency, and deployment-related activities.
• Support EC applications deployed within Docker/containerised environments.
• Troubleshoot container startup, configuration, deployment, connectivity, environment, and application-related issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams when issues span application and platform layers.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting EC in Production and non-Production environments.
• Experience performing EC application upgrades or major technical releases.
• Experience supporting EC within Docker/container-based environments.
• Experience with Oracle database troubleshooting in enterprise applications.
• Experience working within structured Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.
• Experience supporting applications for Oil & Gas / Energy industry operations would be advantageous.
