Job summary

EPG Data Center Module Sdn. Bhd. in Senai, Johor seeks a detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our QA team on a full-time basis. You will ensure supplier materials meet quality standards and act as the bridge between the company and suppliers.

You will lead supplier audits, implement QC plans, monitor incoming material quality, and drive CAPA initiatives to uphold ISO standards and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of supplier quality, QA, or quality control experience in manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO 9001, and other quality standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies: RCA, SPC, DOE.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and assessments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement supplier quality control plans, inspection protocols, and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor incoming material quality through inspection and testing; identify defects and non-conformances.
• Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing CAPA.
• Maintain and analyse supplier performance metrics, including defect rates, on-time delivery, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports, supplier scorecards, and audit trails.
• Provide training to suppliers and internal teams on quality requirements, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate quality concerns to management and recommend supplier changes when necessary.

EPG Data Center Module Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance and Control team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Senai, Johor, and offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within our manufacturing and logistics operations. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all supplier-provided materials and components meet our stringent quality standards. You will serve as a critical link between our organisation and our supplier network, driving continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence across the supply chain.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred experience with automotive, electronics, or precision engineering suppliers
