Zusammenfassung

MKS Inc. is seeking a Global Supplier Manager in Penang, Malaysia, to partner with Engineering, Procurement, Category Management and Sourcing. You will shape the machining category strategy and act as the main contact for strategic suppliers worldwide.

Responsibilities include refining supplier strategies, negotiating TCO, managing master agreements, and leading supplier performance reviews. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain (a master’s degree is preferred)
• 5+ years of related experience in supplier management in the area of machining or similar
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred
• Experience developing supplier and supply chain strategies while concurrently dealing with supplier tactical issues
• Expertise in Oracle and/or SAP procurement and planning modules
• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn details of the semiconductor equipment industry
• Experience in managing Machine Shop contract manufacturers

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Global Supplier Manager, you will partner with Engineering, Procurement, Category Management and Sourcing to develop, refine, and update the machining supply base strategy In this role, you will report to the Sr. Manager, Global Machining Category Management.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Participate in developing and refining the company machining category strategy.
• Single point of contact for business engagements with assigned key strategic globally managed machining suppliers.
• Improve supply chain efficiency and solve dynamic problems that are important to the success of the company.
• Draw on experience to successfully negotiate lowest total cost of ownership/best price, OTD, lead times, customer satisfaction, and agility.
• Manage master supply agreement construction from templates, conduct contract reviews, negotiate, execute, monitor and update agreements.
• Manage global supplier performance using scorecards, conduct quarterly supplier performance and business reviews.
• Lead dual sourcing, resourcing and new supplier identification/introduction to achieve Company’s business continuity strategy.
• Communicate category strategy, risk mitigation plans and improvement ideas to key stakeholders.
• Apply oversight and monitor projects associated with assigned key strategic suppliers.
• Support sourcing activities and new supplier introduction.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain (a master’s degree is preferred)

Preferred Skills:
